What Is Stop the Bleed?
Stop the Bleed is a national public-health program that teaches bystanders how to control life-threatening bleeding in the critical minutes before emergency responders arrive. The course covers tourniquet application, wound packing, and direct pressure — the three interventions that save lives in trauma events ranging from car wrecks to workplace injuries to active-violence incidents.
