One of CPR Works’ aligned instructors ( John Worsham, BA Sociology, BS Nursing, BC-RN ) is now teaching American Heart Association Classes in India. Read about his outreach program below:

“I’m launching a health training startup – Centre for Nursing Development – to impact and advance the profession of nursing through training and coaching in order to impact health holistically in India. So far, I’ve trained 500+ nurses and professionals in first aid/BLS as well as in soft skills. We’re now training centers with AHA (American Heart Association) and ASHI (American Safety & Health Institute). As an ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) nurse planner with UNC-CH School of Nursing’s Center for Lifelong Learning, I have had opportunities to provide external consulting on nursing development programs in India. This consulting involves a needs assessment using a SWOT analysis to identify professional practice gaps. This assessment helps develop customized, continuing nursing education/projects to improve patient care and the functioning of the healthcare organization. Currently, I’m designing projects for a nursing college as well as a home health company. To grow in personal leadership, I’ve met with a leadership coach, and I’m pursuing certification as a coach with ICF (International Coaching Federation). As a result, I have had opportunities to coach other students, nurses, and professors to help prepare them for leadership.”
