Patients who arrive at the emergency room within 3 hours of their first symptoms often have less disability 3 months after a stroke than those who received delayed care.

CPR Works recently taught an On-Site “Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, AED” course at a corporate location that included how to recognize signs of a stroke. Within a few weeks of that course, one of the participants recognized that his girlfriend was having these signs and symptoms. His immediate actions based on the training that he received during the course greatly improved her overall outcome!
